The Backwoods Blast Clay Shoot is back for its 4th annual event, and it’s shaping up to be our biggest year yet! Hosted in Nokomis, Florida, this community favorite brings together outdoor enthusiasts, families, local businesses, and supporters who want to make a real difference in the lives of Veterans, Families and First Responders.

Why This Event Matters

This isn’t just about sporting clays or friendly competition—it’s about honoring and supporting the men and women who have sacrificed for our safety and freedom. Thanks to your generosity at past events, Canines for Heroes has been able to:

• Provide mental health support and resources.

• Assist with opening doors for job training and career reintegration.

• Offer referrals for housing and financial assistance to those in crisis.

• Place highly trained service dogs with Veterans and First Responders coping with PTSD and TBI.

Every shot fired at this event goes directly toward continuing these life-changing programs.
