Intrigued and hopeful, I decided to reach out and explore whether this could be the answer to finding that lost piece of my life’s puzzle.

When my dog passed away, it felt like losing a family member; he was more than just a pet—he was a confidant during lonely nights and my partner in adventure during bright days. A simple scroll through social media landed me on their page where heartfelt stories of veterans finding solace with their canine companions were shared. This organization is dedicated to pairing service dogs with veterans who need them most—those suffering with PTSD. This program helps heroes regain control over their lives by providing practical support and healing through trained service animals.
I served the Air Force as a firefighter. Since I separated I been having a hard time to find where I fit in the civilian side. Reaching out to Canines For Heroes opened up a new chapter in my life—a chapter filled with hope and excitement about what lay ahead.
