Canines for Heroes is a non-profit organization that provides service dogs to Veterans and First Responders who are suffering from PTSD. Every day, we witness the life-changing impact a service dog can have on a family. From the child who gets their parent back to the spouse who finds joy in their marriage again, our organization is dedicated to improving the lives of those who serve our country.
Canines for Heroes is primarily funded by the time, talents, and donations of individuals, businesses, and neighborhoods. We have an annual clay shoot and a golf tournament. On the 2nd Wednesday of every month at Sonny’s BBQ on 41 in Sarasota 20% of the Canine For Heroes benefactors meal ticket is donated to our foundation. With the end of the year approaching, we are reminded of how grateful we are to be able to do the work we do. We understand that many families are struggling to make ends meet, and the holiday season can be particularly stressful. That’s why we are asking you to consider giving the Gift of Joy to Veterans and First Responders’ families in our community.
Your donations can go a long way toward supporting our mission. For instance, a gift of $60 can help us feed and train a service dog for one day.
This includes the cost of food, training, and other necessary expenses. Your gift of $140 can help us vaccinate a service dog for a month, ensuring they stay healthy and happy. Similarly, your gift of $340 can help feed a service dog in training Synthetic Free Carna 4 whole food for 2 months.
However, if you want to make a significant impact on the life of a family, we recommend donating $825, which will pay for 1/10 of a service dog. Your donation will go towards the cost of breeding, raising, and training a service dog for a family in need. With your help, we can provide a Veteran or First Responder with a companion who will not only make their lives easier but enhance their well-being.
